This Valley Works | Youth and Adult Build
Program that provide skills training for the construction trades. YouthBuild students have renovated 16 public housing units, built 3 homes and participated in numerous community service projects. Community service projects have included renovating playgrounds, weatherizing homes, landscaping and painting a floor at an education center. Prior to enrollment, students must complete mental toughness training. Once enrolled, students receive basic education training leading to a GED and learn a construction skill while renovating property or building a home. Students are paid while enrolled.
