Follow instructions provided by school
system in the development of curricula
Develop individualized training plans for
students
Create classroom atmosphere conducive to
learning
Counsel and advise students
Plan and initiate conference with parents
and other related persons (including school personnel and social service
agencies)
Evaluate student progress
Effectively utilize local resources
Implement classroom instruction including
tutorial assistance and schedule classes/breaks
Make home visitations as required
Attend required meetings
Maintain orderly classroom
Follow up on students, inclusive of written
correspondence, phone contact, one-to-one contact, parent contact, etc.
Assist supervisor in all phases of the
program operations
Promote and publicize the program locally as
well as presentation to potential funding organization
Maintain participant files and records
confidentially
Complete weekly reports
