Follow curriculum outline and/or direction of Program
Coordinator in the implementation of instruction for the TAP African
American Male Studies program.
·
2.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to class and remain 30 minutes after class
to prepare for the arrival of students and meet one on one with students as
needed after class.
·
3.
Assess the educational needs of students.
·
4.
Develop lesson plans.
·
5.
Meet with other instructors of students to identify educational as
well as social needs and progress of students.
·
6.
Follow guidelines of William Fleming High School administration in
facilitating class.
·
7.
Grade students’ progress according to William Fleming grading
requirements.
·
8.
Develop and administer exams.
·
9.
Review student grades in other classes.
10. Meet with students
and parents to discuss progress.
11. Attend
meetings as required.
12. Prepare
reports as requested.
13. Provide
monthly reports.
14. Supervise
students during community service projects, field trips, cultural
enrichment activities, etc.
15. Assist in
identifying tutors for the students as needed.
